2009 saw CEDA celebrating our 21st birthday. Over the year we held many events to celebrate creating opportunities for disabled people.  

 

Open Event

The year of celebrations began with a large open event where we invited many people into the centre to see everything we have been developing over the past months and give everyone the chance to be a part of our 21st year.

Birthday Bash

On Thursday 24th September we celebrated in style with a 'big bash' held at Exmouth Pavilions. It was great to see so many people at the event. Students, staff and supporters old and new came along for an entertaining evening containing surprises, acts and guest speakers. Guests were also treated to a very special staff performance of Thriller. Click below to view this online.

Quiz Night

Our 5th annual quiz night was held on 20th November. A fantastic evening was had by all, made more special by the guests who adopted the fancy dress theme of 'fairies'. The evening raised over £400 and was a lot of fun.  The 'Sicilian Sparkles' team won the quiz and very kindly donated their winnings to CEDA's cookery group, who have now purchased a Kenwood Magimix.
