CEDA User and Staff using IT

Our adult service users are referred to as "students", to reflect the emphasis on learning and development. We offer a varied and interesting programme of activities, which is designed following consultation with the students about what they'd like. The programme changes three times per year, so there is always something new to try. Regular favourites which are in the programme often include ICT, health and life skills, creative opportunities such as music, drama and art. We have specialist knowledge and a range of equipment available to assist learners to develop confidence and skills in a variety of subjects.

Course progression, outcomes and achievements are planned and reviewed by the use of Individual Development Plans (IDPs). Our programmes are offered to adults with a range of disabilities and are tailored to suit the needs of the group. Our enabling and support team work alongside our students in sessions, which are led by qualified and experienced tutors.

As well as providing high quality educational sessions and social opportunties we also offer top quality care and support, placing a high emphasis on promoting independence and dignity. Our staff are well trained and experienced at supporting disabled people.  Each adult's needs are carefully assessed before their placement begins and are met through individual care planning.
