The service users at CEDA are actively involved in the development and management of the organisation and have formed a committee called "The Heart of CEDA" to manage themselves.  Every month a representative from The Heart of CEDA attends the management meeting to share student requests and opinions.  The representative then feeds the information back to the students.  A representative also attends the quarterly Trustee meeting.

 

The Heart Of CEDA are actively involved in fundraising for equipment  and general funds for the organisation.

CEDA's Summer Sizzler

 

The CEDA Summer Sizzler took place on May 15th 2010  at St Peter School, Quarry Lane Exeter. The day was a lot of fun and saw visitors grabbing a bargain at the bric-a-brac stalls, enjoying the tasty BBQ food and watching some great variety perfromances from Martial Arts to a Male Voice Chior. The event raised money for the Heart of CEDA group to support  future social activities and outings for disabled people.

On Saturday 27th March we officially launched our new accessible bus and over 450 balloons accross the skies of Exeter. The balloon race is now underway with tickets already returned from France and Switzerland. Closing date for balloon tickets to be returned to the centre is the end of April, with the winning buyer winning a fantastic hotel break courtesty of The Southgate Hotel Exeter.
